I was looking for mid-shin skirts, something for the fall that I can wear athletic capris under for an extra layer. This skirt isn’t quite long enough for my capris, but it’s wonderful regardless. If you’re a bike-shorts-under-skirts kind of person, this will suit you just fine.
I usually wear an American size 4 Petite, but I sized up and purchased this Yige Women’s High Waist Flared Skirt Pleated Midi Skirt with Pocket in a size 6.
It fits perfectly -my waist is 28″ and my hips are 39″.
The skirt arrived new and folded in a simple plastic sleeve. I steamed out the wrinkles with a little travel steamer, and even though I was hasty, the wrinkles were removed easily. The garment hangers are a nice touch, but I love the pockets! They may not be huge, but they are functional and will hold my phone (iPhone SE (same size as iPhone 5)). A nice liner is sewn in, it is almost as long as the skirt (not short like some liners) and it is a good color match, at least in khaki. The zipper didn’t give me any trouble and is perfectly invisible.
The pleats in the front and back are simple, classic, and evenly spaced. When I twist and swirl the skirt does not rise very high -so modesty is preserved and panties remain secret. But the skirt does enable plenty of motion, so if you need to climb into a monster truck you can. Lastly, my dog likes this skirt.
So this classic shape fits me well, and it has pockets, and I think it is perfect. Now I need to decide what color I want to buy next 🤔

Seriously! The color, material, and size were all perfect! It even has pockets!!!! Perfect length and even though the waist isn’t really stretchy, it is comfortable and it sits on my hips perfectly!

The fit is perfect in the waist and for the length to come just under the knee line. The fabric wrinkles sooooo easily. Iron it but soon as my daughter sat down it wrinkled fast. The stitching is poorly and loosely done which is probably the reasoning for the washing and drying directions.

The skirt is gorgeous. Taking the advice of other reviews, I ordered a size larger than I thought I would need. The larger size fit PERFECTLY. The pleats are beautiful. The fabric is heavy, but not cumbersome. It has POCKETS. The color is exactly as pictured.
The reason I ordered a size up is that I have a fat belly, and as the other reviews noted, there is zero give in the waist. Unfortunately, the resulting style did not work for me: it gave the illusion of a much rounder, heavier lady with a lovely flat stomach. Whereas the model looks sophisticated, I look like a pudgy private school girl. If your belly is like mine, you may be disappointed through no fault of the skirt. I felt that it made me look weirdly young (although if I were in my 20s, I probably wouldn’t mind the effect).
Bottom line: I enthusiastically endorse the skirt for the flat-bellied and small-waisted among us. Fellow beer guts should proceed with caution.

This skirt was far too small both in the waist size and in length. In fact I have since been warned not to buy clothes from China because inevitably they are too small. I have since taken it down to the post office for return but that has cost me over £12 which I will not get back.

Although the reviews were mostly positive, I was holding my breath because there were a few bad ones and you never know what you will receive. I ordered the black, navy, and khaki skirts and I am so happy I did! The skirt does not feel heavy on but the material itself is heavy so it is not see-through nor cheap feeling at all. The skirts have a liner inside, which confirms the previous statement though I do wish it was longer. Not a deal breaker as I always wear a half slip underneath anyway. The texture of the skirt feels nice and flowy and smooth and LOOKS high quality. The zipper, which I’ve seen reviews on here bashing, is your typical tight zipper (see pics) and as women who have dealt with this kind of zipper, all you need is a little patience and gentleness when pulling on it. I am 5’4 and 125lbs so I went with a size 4 – it felt perfect since the skirt has no stretch but I was able to breath. The ONE thing I would change is that you cannot tumble dry as per the instructions so instead you have to hang it dry. It’s not the end of the world but not the most convenient either. Honestly for $24 these skirts are the way to go because I’ve seen other ones on here that are double the price and not as good in quality.

The skirt looks okay and the color is clean and consistent. However, you can feel the poor construction; the fabric won’t well stand up to time, the stitching is cheap, weak, and low quality, and the zipper is near impossible to zip up all the way.
The skirt is really flattering when standing still, but as soon as you start walking, it will ride up and cling to your legs in a very unflattering way. The skirt really should be lined. Lastly, the fit is absolutely terrible. I got my size according to the charts but I’ve had to mess with safety pins every time: it’s way too big.
On a budget, it’s a good product, but don’t expect leaps and bounds from this skirt.

Do not buy this. It looks so chic in the photo but in person this skirt has no shape, and does not drape nicely at all. The fabric is super low quality too, it felt like a cheap plastic tablecloth. Get something different.

The skirt was a little big on me so maybe get a size or a half size smaller than you think. But it is comfortable and a good fit. Perfect for business casual dress. And goes good with most anything.
