These sandals are AMAZING! I ordered a size 9 and have collapsing arches on my feet. I wear prescribed arch supports in my shoes but with these sandals, I never feel like I need them. The arch area is not flat but is not overly pronounced either in these sandals. Great cushion for my soles, heels, and the balls of my feet. I have purchased a different brand every year for the past 3 years but have noticed that the arch support have fattened out by the end of the sandal-wearing season. It’s too early to tell about this brand, but so far, I’m impressed!!! I have a narrow foot so I’m liking that I can adjust the width! I LOVE these sandals!!!

This massage therapist has VERY picky requirements for sandals that are comfortable, support the body, and are not ugly as sin. The arch must fit the foot, and in my case, that means very little to no arch support. Other people do need a bit more arch support, but beware the arch rise does not cause your foot to over supinate or you can end up with an ankle sprain. The very popular suede insole, featured on so many sandals but not this one, is unacceptable because it is too hot. Embossed insoles or insoles that change texture at the heel or toes drive my brain bonkers from too much stimulation in all of the wrong places and this sole is not embossed nor does it have a texture change at the toe or heel. No flip flops or slides are ever permitted because they cause plantar fasciitis and sciatica due to toe grip to keep the sandal on the foot –and they make me A LOT of money every August when women start hobbling into my practice with one or both of those offending conditions from spending their summer in their beloved flip-flops. So, here is this year’s winner for my foot. Delightfully, it is actually affordable. This color is only $39.99 and the other colors are around $50.00. Granted, it is not a dress sandal, but this sandal will take you everywhere else. All the best to you for finding your perfect summer sandal. This sandal is just what I needed and I purchased it in three colors!

I own a pair of Tevas and I have loved them, only drawback was the price tag. But I figure you get what you pay for with shoes and it was worth it. Needing a new pair of sandals, I ordered these Viakixs after reading the reviews. (I also ordered another pair of Tevas just in case these didn’t work out.) I have high archs and a bit of plantar faciitis so shoes are hard for me. The Viakix is a sooooo comfortable. I get the arch support I need and the heels are comfortably cushioned. The width of the shoe is also perfect. Having worn both sets of new sandals, I can comfortably say I like the Viakix better than the new Teva.

I’m a size 8 with profoundly flat feet and posterior tibial tendonitis (PTT) in my right foot. My daily shoe for the last five years has been Ecco’s Yucatan sandal, and it’s great but expensive, so I decided to try the Viakix as an alternative. I didn’t expect these to be as good, but I was hoping that they would be good enough and last until I could afford another pair of my usual shoe.
So far, this has worked out better than expected. No, these aren’t as comfortable as my usual sandal, but I’d say they’re about 85% as comfortable. The straps allow me to make fine adjustments to comfortably fit not only my flat feet but also the wraps I wear over them to treat my PTT. It takes me a little longer to get them comfortably on because there are many places where the edge of the strap can catch and rub me wrong if I’m careless. But if I take time to do it right, the straps always stay put. That’s a definite advantage over the Yucatan and it’s more open design — much easier for me to get in with the straps on but also much easier for an edge of the strap to work free and annoy me.
I live in a tropic environment and although I don’t habitually go walking in heavy rain, I often get caught in light showers or have to navigate puddles during the wet season. So far, the shoes are holding up very well — I’d say at least as well as the Eccos.
In terms of looks, I prefer my Eccos but must admit that the Viakix are better looking as office wear. Fortunately, my company doesn’t care, but I’ve worked in other places where the more rugged looking Eccos weren’t acceptable and thus had to suffer through the workday in far less comfortable shoes. But the Viakix would have been fine, so I could have been comfortable and met the dress code. Of course every place is different in terms of requirements, but if you need a good walking sandal that looks more business casual than mountain hiking trip, this might work.
If money were no object and looks didn’t matter, I’d stay with the devil I know (Ecco). But for something a little more suitable for my office or for staying to a budget, Viakix are the clear choice. Fortunately, this is one time where I can save significant money without taking a similar hit in quality. The products aren’t the same, but they’re close enough, and I’ve definitely gotten my money’s worth from the Viakix. I’ll likely buy another pair when the time comes, but that might take a while — the soles are holding up nicely.

Both of my feet pronate (flat) and flip flips are a thing of the past. These are cute with summer outfits and are durable! I’ve gotten them wet and they keep their shape. Several sturdy velcro straps ensure a comfortable and custom fit.

I love these sandles. Very comfortable I can wear these all day running errands , going walking, hiking in the trails and even in water. I really like that all the straps are individually adjustable for a perfect fit. Order size as per instructions. I’m 7.5 was suggested to order 7 I did and they’re a perfect fit .

I like the comfort very much. At first sight I thought the ankle strap closure was the only adjustable strap. A fantastic surprise they’re all adjustable! Arch support is great, material is soft, comforting sandal. Velcro is working well. Heel strap is secured on heel and ankle adjustable straps. I bought the Black/Grey, the colors compliment one another nicely, and can be worn with basically everything. Today with a jean skirt, looks great.

I wasn’t sure at first try on because The straps felt a little scratchy. But after only a little while they Conformed to my feet and became very comfortable. I love the ease of adjusting the straps to fit your feet. This was important to me because my right foot is wider than my left and I have a hard time finding
shoes that are comfortable. These have decent art support. Not flat, which I appreciate. I was able to walk in them all day, which is something I usually can’t do unless I have sneakers on. I recommend giving these a try.

Folks, this entire shoe is adjustable. All those straps mean that if one of your feet is a bit bigger than the other, or if you have a history of a sore toe on one foot, or if one foot is injured, you can adjust everything about this shoe. That’s also something you can do if one of your feet swells from intensive walking or heat, for example–or if you decide to wear socks some days but not every day. This sandal is VERY comfortable. It is also highly waterproof, or at the very least it is extremely fast-drying. The only reason I rated it 4 instead of 5 for durability is because I just got them so I can’t speak to that feature yet. I rated it 4 instead of 5 for support only because the arch could be a little bit higher, especially if you have plantar fasciitis, as I do. But overall I have to say that the support is very decent. I usually wear a 7 or 7.5 (size 38) so I ordered 7 and the fit is perfect. I think these are like the Teva Tirra but BETTER because the strap structure is more adjustable and the sizing (which is notoriously off for Teva Tirras) is bang on for these Viakix sandals–and they are cheaper too. They are also more elegant than the Teva Tirras, in that the foot looks slimmer so the sandal has a slightly more dressy look for a walking sandal. Highly recommended.

I received my sandals just in time for a warm sunny day (they were on time) ive the grey ones and they go well with leggings/jeggings. I’ve a huge bunion and collapsed arches and my feet swell in the heat. The sandals have been made for my feet and suit me down to the ground😊. I can adjust the velcro to suit my feet. Another plus is i can do my daily 10,000 steps without getting stones in them.
