Very happy with this sandal and highly recommend it. Just have to wear ankle socks to not get blister on back of the foot. Much lighter on feet and more breathable then shoes in the summer. Love them

I have a very difficult time trying to get a hiking shoe to fit my feet. I’ve been through so many it’s a wonder Amazon lets me try so many that had to be returned. My winter hiking shoe problem has been resolved so I was on the hunt to find a hiking shoe that would be cooler to wear in the Summer.
This is the third pair I’m trying out and I thought it would be a return also but they felt so comfortable with plenty of support I needed that I kept adjusting the two straps in hopes of getting a good fit. I have a narrow heel so my heel kept moving up and down when I walk, darn….. the fit was so perfect except for this serious issue. I decided to check out these heel pads that supposedly help this problem, I’m so glad I did!!! The pads self adhesive actually stays put when I put on or take off the shoes!! The pads actually feel comfortable and prevent my heels from moving!! I have a winner!!
I’ve had these shoes for a week now and they actually keep getting better. They seem to mold to my feet, so comfortable.

If you truly are a size 8.5 and wish for a wide shoe, this will be perfect. I’m actually an 8 but often buy 8.5 to get a little extra room. With this being 8.5 AND wide, it was too big for me so returned it. I wish there were other sizes in Wide. Soft around the ankle, great toe cap, easy to snug. Would be a great all around water/light hiker.
Stuff we like –
These were really great shows for the 1 day I wore them but they have me really bad blisters. They were not to tight or anything but the blisters are so bad and have bleed and I can’t wear shoes currently. It happen on both feel so it must be a designe issues. Either way won’t ever by Tevas again. The one photo is 3 weeks later and they won’t heal because of the damage it did to my foot.

I really like these sandals. I normally wear a size 10w in sandals because when hot outside my feet swell. However, wide was not offered so I ordered a 10-1/2. The sandal is a little larger than I would prefer in the toe area but I decided to keep them because I may wear socks with them in cooler weather. It has been a few months since I have been wearing them. I still like them as they are comfortable and support my feet well.

i had to send back i was to small to fit in i have cancer lost to much weight but i need to say this i do love these shoes they are so pretty water proof great price they look so good i will one day fit in to them and i will order them i do love your shoes

They fit perfect. The only issue is 1 of the elastic laces is broke. No biggie as I just ordered replacement laces as I didn’t want to return the shoes. These should be perfect with closed toes for out december cruise where we will be doing a hiking and water excursion.

I found these shoes very comfortable. The toe box is wide and I appreciate being able to adjust the heal strap. I have a high instep and at first I thought these might be too tight but when I got my feet into the shoe properly, they were fine. I haven’t used them for hiking yet but think they will be great in terms of keeping rocks out of my shoes, and I hope the soles are cushiony enough on rocky paths. They certainly were when walking around a museum for 2 1/2 hours.

I love these sandals. They are comfy, fit true-to-size, and will not fall off! I wear them everywhere. Good traction on wet surfaces and great for hiking, too. They are a bit of a challenge to put on, but now that I’m used to it, it’s no bother.

I wasn’t expecting anything quite so bulky in a summer sandal, but that said, these have already saved my foot from serious injury. A screen door closed a little too soon and caught what would have been the side of my foot. Because of the good quality materials, it saved the foot from all harm. I’ve worn them all day, every day and being in my 60’s, that says a lot about how great they are in comfort and fit. I don’t think all the straps are really necessary because I can’t figure out how to adjust them or even if they are meant to be adjustable. That said, if you want a tough, sturdy sandal that your feet will love: buy these!
