Edit: So the company itself has rectified the situation appropriately. I believe that they do care about the customer at heart with that.
So the pendant itself, gold plated, expected to tarnish. The chain itself though is not silver. It’s not only tarnished, but it looks to be rusting. So the chain must be replaced from the get go.
Overall, it’s a pretty pendant, but if a gold version existed, that would be the better purchase.
