I was a bit skeptical, I’d had my old hat for decades. This hat is nice. The brow band wicks away sweat and provides a comfortable fit around my skull. Well made, the underside material is attractive. Don’t buy a cheaper hat, get one built to last. This hat is just that.

Arrived on time, gives good shade on my face and back of neck. Under chin string tie closes tightly, keeps hat on head while boating. I am pleased with the hat.

Can’t give only one star as it is a great hat, but DO NOT buy from Amazon. Product is shipped in a bag from the USA and gets destroyed in shipping. Hat was squished, deformed, and broken in four different spots, it should be in a bigger box to prevent it from getting wrecked. Luckily found a place in town that sells the hats. Might be better ordering directly from Hemlock Hat Co., but not going to risk it again.

The quality is great!! It was cheaper than a lot of the other ones. Fit my husband perfect. Very light weight. Has an adjustable robe so it doesn’t fly off. Great for the pool or mowing

I read some bad reviews and all I can say is this hat is perfect. Absolutely perfect. The shape. No dents. No imperfections. The best part is the fit. It almost has this elastic band that allows the hat to fit any size head and almost grips the head so it doesn’t fly off in a gust of wind and it doesn’t shift on the head once it’s on. Best quality surf/lifeguard hat I’ve ever bought and I’m born n raised Laguna Beach Cali. I know hat quality when I see it. And no – I’m not sponsored and I def don’t get paid to post this. Although I’m down to be a sponsor haha
