I am a true 6.5 in US sizing. I had to re-order these twice to end up at a 7.5, and they are STILL just barely big enough. Each size up seems to increase the amount of toe space by only a few millimeters. I could have gotten them in a size 8, but was done with waiting around, considering they each took about a week to arrive. I hate vanity sizing and the bullshit it perpetuates, hence the 4 stars.
Otherwise, I like them. I love the flexible sole. They go with just about everything. I do think the sole will wear down quite quickly, but hey, it’s not like they’re expensive.

Bei einer Schuhgröße von 38 bis 38,5 habe ich die Sandalen vorsichtshalber gleich in Größe 38,5 bestellt.
Ich war nach Erhalt sehr enttäuscht als ich sie gleich versuchte anzuprobieren, was nicht möglich war. Sie waren viel zu klein und entsprachen nach meinem Empfinden Schuhgröße 37.
Werden zurück geschickt.

My honest opinion! –
I bought this same sandal at a store, came home and checked Amazon and found it here cheaper also. At the store I asked for my usual 7 1/2 and asked for an 8 just in case 7 1/2 was snug. The 7 1/2 was unusually tight and I asked for the 8 which the store did not have. So I went to 8 1/2 and they fit perfectly well. Bare with me: my right foot is a loose 7 1/2 and my left foot is the real 7 1/2. By buying a pair before, I knew that I needed a whole size up. The sandal is well made and of course, if I would try to fit my foot into a smaller size the sandal will break. I am looking into buying another pair at Amazon of course.

So they look nice but the back strap is cutting into my foot an dmaking me bleed.
The tags are rough under my heal causing discomfort and the front strap is big, i can fit two fingers inside.

Beautiful sandals but the straps around the ankle were too short .. I couldn’t do up the strap .. not usually a problem for me

For $35, these were OK, but I wouldn’t buy again or at a larger price point. I’m a size 5, and I bought up at a 5.5 and these were still slightly too narrow and too short. I have very slender ankles, and I could only buckle it across my ankles at the last hole.
I wanted something flat for comfort, but also could stand up to wearing around in the city street and on a lawn. While the leather straps are nice enough, the insole feels too stiff and doesn’t give me enough of a barrier between me and the world. The label in the insole is uncomfortable against the bottom of my foot but appears structural?
