I did a search for the shoe with the most cushion; this was in the top 10 on the list. It was lower in ranking because they have come out with newer styles, but I tried a newer one and this one. I have never enjoyed such a comfy shoe! I’m not kidding, it’s like having pillows on my feet. I have terrible knees and can only wear rubber- soled shoes and these provide the most cushion by far.
They are actually true to size. I measure at an 8.5 W, but have many different sizes of shoes. I ordered these in an 8.5 W and they fit perfectly.
They seem well made and provide a good grip. I’ll update my review when they weather their first Northern winter, but after a month, I’m still crazy about these.

I’ve never written a review before, but I had to stop and write this one, in case it could help another person. I had congenital ankle issues at birth, surgeries, repaired fracture, and ankle arthritis currently, so finding comfortable, long wearing shoes is hard. I need the support of sneakers, but I tend to ruin them in a month or two because my ankles roll outward, wearing down the structure of the shoe. Therefore, I go through sneakers pretty fast. I bought the Max Cushioning in October of 2023 and have worn them every single day. Every day. They feel so good, but most importantly, they are still supporting my feet and ankles. I have purchased several pair and keep them stored in my closet, because I’m scared that I won’t be able to find them one day. A couple of days ago, I washed my daily pair and chose to put on an old random pair of sneakers while they dried. I wore those old sneakers for one day, and that night I told my husband that my left ankle was already hurting again. The next day I was outside in the dirt while we had a concrete patio poured and wore another pair of old sneakers so I wouldn’t get my clean Skechers dirty. By this morning, my left lower leg was hurting when I lift my toes upward, like shin splints. I put on my clean Skechers at 830 am and it’s now 1031 am and my pain is gone. GONE! These shoes are amazing! For me it’s the support for my particular issues. The way the bottom of the shoe is made wide, I’m not able to roll the shoe like I do others. The top of the shoe is soft and you can tighten it when you need the extra support and it holds, without loosening when I walk. I know everyone does not have the same issues, but if they are comfortable for me, they will surely feel good for normal issues with the arch support, comfortable footbed, supportive material on top. I love them and I’ve worn many different type and brands of shoes over the years. Please don’t buy them all and Skechers please keep making these shoes!!! PS. The wide size gives me even more support and comfort. Please keep giving us that option. I would give you more than 5 stars if I could. ❤️

One can definitely feel the extra cushioning built into the shoes. It wears very comfortably, and it feels cushy but firm at the same time, it’s great for my walks. To be fair, its comfort still doesn’t quite match up with the more expensive Hoka brand…so it’s a matter of how much one wants to pamper oneself 😛. I deducted one star because of its non-removable insole so I can’t use my own insoles with this. Can’t vouch for its durability yet😅

Breathable lightweight supportive, great for standing all day, running awesome athletic shoes. Match just about everything you wear. Affordable High end shoe for all day wear. Your feet won’t sweat or swell up at day end. If you want extra arch support buy the vionic ACTIVE INSOLES. The original insoles are removable, if your feet are thin leave in and put the vionic inserts on top. BEST SHOE FOR STANDING OR ANY ACTIVE MOVEMENTS.

This is the 4th pair of Max cushioning I’ve owned…I won’t wear anything else !
I wore them for years as a nurse…never had sore feet, legs or back.
Will always be my ‘go-to’ for footwear !
Highly recommended !
My only regret…that I didn’t order 2 pairs. 🥴

This sneaker is EXACTLY what I have been looking for. I have issues with a bone spur rubbing my Achilles tendon and Plantar Fasciitis. This sneaker is just like the sandals I purchased made by Sketchers with the GOGA mat souls. The sneaker provides comfort ALL day, is supportive, and worth way more than what they are selling them for. I can walk for hours without any discomfort! Thank you, Sketchers! Don’t stop making this style of shoes!
