   I recently purchased the Skechers Women’s Hands-Free Slip Ins Ultra Flex 3.0 Smooth Step Sneaker, and I couldn’t be happier! Let me share why these sneakers have become my new favorites:

   Usually wear a Size US 9 and/or EU 40 fairly reliably. Ordered the Skechers Slip-in in a Size 9. Too small! Pinched my forefoot in the toebox area, and squished my big toenail on each foot. No go. Returned that shoe. (Thank you, Whole Foods drop off!) Ordered a Size 9 Wide. Too big! My foot slid around inside the shoe while walking, and the shoe slid off the top of my heel at the back of my foot. Ok, then. Exchanged that shoe with a Size 8.5 Wide. JUST RIGHT! Omg, y’all. Finally, a solid fit! Just enough room in the toebox for my forefoot to spread out, and a sturdy, steady grip at the heel. Great arch support, and heel cushioning, too. A really comfortable, easy-wearing shoe for every day running around. 🙂👍

   My 75 year old mom has dementia and parkinson’s and I’ve pretty much replaced her entire collection with Skechers hands-free shoes. These are an easy slip on, the dark gray/black color will go with pretty much anything since it has a touch of subtle sparkle. My mom has this style (different color) in both an 8.5 and 8.5W because her feet swell sometimes. Both are comfortable and easy for her to put on by herself (which is huge for helping her continue to feel independent wherever possible). Highly recommend the entire hands free line!

   As a senior citizen, I’m finding that bending and putting on shoes is more and more difficult. These shoes are amazing; they really do work and are sooooo comfy. I wish I had bought them sooner.

    I love these Sketchers. They are easy to get on your feet, especially if you have a bad back. They are also very comfortable for extended wear. Great shoes!

    These are fantastic sneakers! I purchased these after I had knee replacement surgery. They were a little tight at first, but have since relaxed. They provide excellent support, especially for walking. They may not be the most attractive shoes, but I love them and would suggest you give them a try!

    The short version: I decided to break these in by wearing them on a three-day trip to New York City during which I walked 19.73 miles, and it’s the only time in 14 years of such trips that my feet HAVEN’T been killing me by Day 3.

    On these NYC trips, I tend to get overly ambitious on the first day, and then I spend most of Day 2 sitting in a coffee shop trying to forget how much my feet hurt. Making matters worse, I also have a bad ankle (it’s been weak my whole life), so I put pressure in the corresponding foot in weird ways to compensate for the ankle being out of alignment.

    On this trip, I walked over 18,000 steps on the first day, and I was expecting to be hating life the next day. Normally, it wouldn’t be the smartest move to bring a brand-new pair of shoes, and ONLY those shoes, on an intensive walking trip across unforgiving pavement. But my feet and even my ankle were completely fine. This has never happened before. I’ve worn a dozen different pairs of sneakers, running shoes, and even LL Bean hiking boots around the city, and this is a first.

    They’re very cushy and very easy to get in and out of, yet you never feel like you’re at risk of slipping out of them by accident. They don’t seem especially supportive, but my delicate little princess of an ankle seems to think they’re just fine, and she’s the authority. I seriously might switch to just wearing these forever.

    These are the best walking shoes! i bought a few different sketchers to try out and this one was the best HANDS DOWN.
    feels like i am walking on air and fits well.
    slip in feature works great!

    waiting for price to go down on the colors and i will order more.
