The shoes have such great support for a person that is over weight. They have never hurt my feet, great performance, true to size! I have a pair of Hokas and find these more comfortable.

I took these on a two week trip with city and hiking (path hiking). I love to stay mobile most of the day, this trip was packed with activities. Considering the 6-9 miles of walking a day, for 14 days, they were comfortable. I did have issues with the shoe not feeling as stable as I like. Mostly in the front. I felt the mesh top would allow my foot to slide from side to side more than I am used to. The sole of the shoes cushion was good. I made it with minimal soreness at the end of the day. Super lightweight a great shoe for travel especially when trying to keep the suitcase weight down. Yes I would recommend these shoe.

I am a nurse. I wear these to walk at least 10,000 steps or more per shift.
Wide enough and padded enough. Affordable too!

I really wanted to love these. My shoe size is 8.5 to 9. I have wide, flat feet and suffer from plantar fasciitis and overpronation. I initially bought a 9 but they were way to long so I exchanged for a 8.5 and they fit perfectly, but…
1. The toe box on these shoes weren’t wide enough.
2. There wasn’t enough room for the tops of my toes to move freely.
3. The heel didn’t have much padding so my heel slipped some.
4. I felt like for my overpronation there wasn’t enough ankle support for me.
The price is excellent and they are very comfortable initially putting on and walking around the house, but I had to return because I need more room for my toes.

Fantastic comparison to the Brooks Glycerin 20. The sole cushion is very comparable, however the Brooks had more padding around the whole shoe giving you a feel of more support. The Ryka shoe has a great look and better material than the Brooks shoes, in my opinion, more durable and should last longer. The look is more sleek as the Brooks’ platform sole flares out for stability. The Ryka shoes doesn’t flare out, but still seems to have great support and stability. I did return this shoe for medical reasons but once my foot heals up, I will be buying this shoe again. The fit was much better than Brooks as well. In the Brooks, my toes go just up to the material. With the Ryka, they are a perfect fit. They are lightweight and breath well. The only negative I have are the laces. They are cheap and thin. This doesn’t alter my rating in any way as they still do the job.

Great trainers, really happy with them

I usually wear an 8 but, these fit a little big. They fit more like they are an 8 1/2. I’m going to keep them and wait until the cooler weather to wear socks with them. Hopefully they will fit a little better.

Great shoe for women, good support, fits well and been doing quite a bit more walking because so comfortable.
Just purchased another pair during Prime Days when price was reduced, in the process of breaking in, I expect will be just as
good. Different color and style good arch support!

I have worn Rykas (Devo 3 and Devo X) for four years. I walk 5 miles 4x/week at a fast pace. Shoes are very comfortable BUT the soles last only 3 months so I’m getting less than 300 miles out of each pair. I do think the sole on the Devo X is a bit more durable than the Devo 3 (but they are also more $). They are less expensive than many other brands (especially since they are often on sale), so maybe that’s a reasonable trade off.

Until now, all arch support shoes I’ve personally tried had the arch support too far back, so it was partly on my heel. (Highly uncomfortable and defeats the purpose.) The placement in these, which is my 1st pair of Rykas, is perfect! Fits true to size, I’m an 8.5 Wide and my right foot is slightly wider than my left. With the laces I can easily adjust each shoe to fit comfortably. The toe room is great for me, I have a bit of space however I do not have long toes, if you do you may want to go up a half size if you’re in between sizes. They are very comfortable, definitely supportive, fairly cushioned not ‘overly’ cushiony however, you can easily swap the arch support insoles for more cushioned insoles as needed, which I love….as I can just change them back and forth when I want. The style is really cool for my Gen X tastes, not teenager and not overly mature….it hits that sweet spot in the middle. Overall I’m really pleased and will likely purchase another color and try other Ryka styles in the future. I hope this review helps!

After reading many reviews and getting a variety of recommendations, I decided to give Ryka a try. Love the color. Love the fit. Love the comfort. Went forward and ordered 2 more pair in different colors.
