First, I bought a size 9 and I was hoping they would be the answer to me finding shorter-heeled, more comfortable character shoes for performing in the theater since they look almost the same. I do not have bunions, but have other orthopedic problems, so I thought I would give these a try. They were quite large on my feet and the elastic strip on the end of the strap was pretty stretchy, so they did not hold my ankles in place. Hence, my feet slid way to the front and I had quite big gaps at my heels. That being said, the foam cushion inside felt great. I do wear an approx. 1/2 inch heel lift for my short leg, and that also usually fits fine in my shoes, without forcing my foot out. But my heel was definitely not wanting to stay in the shoe either. I don’t believe that would be fixed by a smaller shoe. So, slightly more shoe along the top of the back leather heel portion would be better for me. People with normal legs will not likely have a problem with that part, though.

These shoes are very comfortable. I can wear them with or without socks. They look good with pants or dress. I wore them for a concert and I walked a lot stayed on my feet for a long time and my feet were just fine. I am planning to get a new pair in a different color. I loved them!!

I originally ordered these in my usual size, 7. They were HUGE. I reordered them in a size 6 because there was no size 6.5 option. They fit perfectly now. I would recommend sizing a full size down for a perfect fit. Otherwise, these are very comfy, easy to walk in, and cute! I’m excited for these to be my new teaching shoes.

These shoes are beautifully made! Style is classic yet fashionable AND comfortable. I have neuropathy in my feet and most dress shoes are too tight. However these shoes are “kind” to my feet. The chunky heel and strap make the shoes stable, and they are lightweight. These are the PERFECT pair of dress shoes for me!

I absolutely love these shoes and I was so hoping that they would work as I needed shoes to look like character shoes for theater. They would be comfortable shoes, but not for me. They put too much weight on the balls of my feet where I had surgery. Not enough cushion for me. They are beautiful and well-made and would be great for people who don’t have bad feet.
