I am replacing a pair exactly like this. The reason I picked this shoe is because it is all one color, is leather and can be worn to work. The shoes comfort gets better with wear. At first the top is tight a little (not bad) when laced up. And the laces need to be inserted in one of the two top shoelace openings to keep the back from sliding on the heel. One thing I will watch is that, with the first pair, the leather has come apart at the sole on the outside of each shoe. Possibly the leather rotted and broke loose. I have had them at least three years, and I wore them pretty much every day. I have another pair in white, but I do not wear that pair as often. One reason is the white pair looks really big – optical illusion probably – since both shoes are the same size. And white shows wear more.

I thought being New Balance these should would be top of the line and for some people they probably are. I like the look of these shoes they are stylish; however the fit is not what it should be. I ordered a 6 XW and they were quite narrow to be be an extra wide shoe. I thought since they were leather that they would stretch. I put my shoe stretcher in over night to widest width I could get from it; and they didn’t stretch by much. Which made me wonder what kind of leather they were made from. Because I used the stretcher I was not able to return them. Not only being narrow, the toe box presses on the top of of the toes and where the tongue was sewn it wasn’t trimmed enough and was very uncomfortable. I’m going to donate these shoes maybe someone can wear them and be able to trim the tongue seam. I had to give them a 3. Sorry New Balance but these just aren’t the shoes for me.

Bought these for my mom who needed to replace an older model pair of New Balance walking shoes that are no longer available. Thankfully, the same size of these shoes fit her well and are as comfy as her old pair. She’s pretty picky, so if she says they are comfortable, they really are.

Good walking shoes. They’re a little on the heavy side but I expected that with leather uppers. My toes do a number on the mesh top shoes so I wanted something sturdier. The tongue is on the short side as others have mentioned, but it’s manageable. I wear a size 8.5 and they do make my feet look big but I can deal with that because they are good quality.

Pretty good shoe. I can see the glue on the sole and I just got them today so I don’t know how long they will hold up before falling apart. But the reason why this particular shoe says it’s small is because you need to loosen the laces when you first get them.

Très heureuse de mon achat! Je suis très difficile à chausser vu la largeur de mon pied et mon oignon. Je devais toujours utiliser des souliers de course comme souliers de marche car ils étaient en tissu extensible. J’ai eu longtemps des Newbalance et maintenant des Asisc car ces 2 cies ont des chaussures larges. J’avais un peu peur de commander un soulier en cuirs (moins extensible). Mais ils sont parfaits et confortables! J’ai dû enlever la semelle et la remplacer par une plus mince pour utiliser mes orthèses (car mon pied sortait). C’est super qu’elle s’enlève! J’avais aussi commandé des 411 mais tant qu’à moi, ça ne correspond pas à des larges. Mes pieds seront heureux à Disney pour des milliers de pas!😄
