I’ll start with the positives. This skirt does have some stretch to it and is very comfortable. It looks stylish and can be dressed up or toned down. I’d wear this skirt anywhere. I usually wear a size 8 in a denim skirt and that’s what I purchased and it fit perfectly. My waist is 28 and my hips about 38. It fit everywhere. There was no gap in the waist, it just conformed to me. After wearing it for a day, I was so thrilled that I decided to order the Potassium color and the Medium Blue. That’s where I ran into my problems as is the only negative thing I have to say about the skirt and the reason I gave it 4 stars. The Potassium fit perfectly and, if possible, I love it more than the black one. In fact, I’m wearing it right now. But I had no end of problems with the sizing of the Medium Blue. It was skin tight. I compared it to the black one and it was much smaller. I double checked that it was a size 8 and it was. Disappointed, I returned it for a size 10. I was positive it was going to be too big. I’ve never worn a 10. I tried it on when it arrived and it was still skin tight. I compared it to the black size 8 and it was still smaller. The waist was the same size but the hips about an inch smaller. I wanted it so bad, however, that I returned it and ordered a 12. It arrived today. It is a little bigger than I like but fits far better than the size 10. I don’t know what’s going on with the Medium Blue but, if you order that color, beware that (unless this was a fluke) it runs very small.

I love the way this skirt slenderizes the body and is nice and stretchy. The color was great, and this skirt will be a basic item to mix and match all kinds of tops and shoes with. Dress it up or down. I usually am a size 10, but sized up to a 12 based on other reviews. It fits very nicely!

I returned the skirt as the fit was not what I expected. I wear a size 10 in most skirts and they are a little loose. I also have some size 8 which fit a little more tightly than the size 10, but still fit fine. The waistline was loose, the hips fit but were a little snug in this skirt. The skirt has quite a lot of stretch, but seemed to be cut in such a way that the lower part of the skirt near the hemline seemed to be tighter than the hips. I may be wrong, but the skirt seemed to be prone to wrinkle due to how stretchy it is.
The fabric was a little thinner than what I expected, but if everything else had been what I expected, it would not have been a problem.
I am 5’ 6” and the length was perfect. Although this seems to be a negative review, I will say that it is a very attractive skirt and seems to be very well made.

OK, so first of all, the skirt is really cute. I personally do not like my jeans skirts to be ultra thick so I am fine with the thickness of the skirt. It is not too thin either. It comes to a nice length on me that isn’t too long to be unattractive, but not so short that I can’t wear it to work without getting looked at funny. OTOH I am only 5’, so you might get looked at very funny indeed, if you are much taller. 😆
But what I do not understand is why is this skirt stretched denim? The reason I ask that is because the buttons in the front are not decorative. They open completely, and there is no zipper behind them. So if you happen to stretch that skirt even a little bit? Puckers and you can see between the buttons. So personally, I suggest you size up. I am normally an 8 and I do not wear my clothes that tightly. I ordered the 10 specifically because I wanted a relaxed fit. If I lost about five more pounds, the 10 would fit right on me, but I’m not there yet. So basically, I can’t wear it until I lose another 5 pounds. The skirt needs to be barely resting on your hips, or those buttons do wonky things. So there’s no point to that stretch feature.

Just being honest –
Love the dark denim, it has some stretch even though it is pencil style skirt. I have machine washed it a few times thus far and it has maintained the dark blue color and has not shrunk. The fabric is a nice light jean material so it’s not a heavy jean skirt for summer(love that) the front zipper works and doesn’t buckle or bind and the pockets hold my phone and Keyes when need be so they are not extremely small like some jeans tend to be for us women. Going to buy more in different colors.

These aren’t going to simply just suck in your mom belly so if you want that you might need to wear these with some control top underneath. That being said I really liked these, they fit well and despite my having long legs, they were a good length. The dark color was nice and I had no problems with anything not working or smelling odd, they were new and looked good. I look forward to wearing them honestly, although again with a mom belly I might have to pull out some shapewear for underneath the skirt.

This denim is very stretchy and expands about 2 inches which is great if you’re between sizes. The stretch doesn’t act like shapewear at all so it’s very comfortable and the denim is fairly sheer. White skirt shows your underwear so wear nude color. The midi length is perfect for making the wearer look slender and still covers your thighs when seated. Pockets are large enough to hold a cell phone but mine kept falling out when I was seated. I ordered my usual size 4 for skirts and pants and it fit perfectly with a little room to move. (I am 5’6″, 127 lbs, 31″ inseam)
