I was starting to think my head just wasn’t made to look good in hats. They’re either too big or too small. I’m a farmer or Elmer Fudd. I’m a leprechaun in a top hat, no no! now I’ve got a hat 17x bigger than my head and I can’t even hold my head up correctly.
Anyway, you get the point. Ever virtually window shop Amazon when you can’t sleep and wake up to find emails saying “hey insomniac! Congratulations, you have brand new xyz out for delivery 👏” this purchase was one of those. And thank goodness for my overactive mind that makes bedtime such a hassle. Because I’ve finally discovered the unicorn sunhat.
Yall. This hat is IT. It fits perfectly. Not too tight where you get a headache and feel like someone just bandaged your head. Not to loose where it keeps toppling off. The Drawstring is amazing for helping secure it, especially if it’s a windy day at the beach or you’re doing something active on the water like kayaking, SUPing, chasing your tiny humans, etc. It’s big enough to provide sun protection without being so big you’re ultimately wearing an umbrella on your head. It’s adorable and stylish (she says having zero fashion sense). The price is decent. The quality seems great. And it can fold to be packed but POP OUT like a 1960s dancer from a surprise birthday cake.
Clearly, I am sleep deprived. But the hat is great. Buy it. You won’t regret it.

I have several similar hats from the San Diego hat company but they are a little larger than I wanted to take to Europe and I specifically wanted one that was packable.. I purchased this one to go to Europe in July and I am so glad I had this hat. The strap helped while on an open air excursion, so it did not blow off, and it really is able to maintain it’s shape after folding it to put it in a backpack or suitcase. It’s not too big and it’s not too small. It was just the perfect size to shade my face.

I have worn this hat while walking in the sun recently and it is perfect for me in every way and the best straw hat I have owned over the years. I love that it has chin ties to prevent blowing off in our strong winds and I am able to slip it off and on to my back when I need to remove it. The hat feels very comfortable and the wide brim shields my neck at the back as well as my face. I just love this hat and it will get a lot of wear this hot summer, while remaining in place on windy days. I have searched for this type of hat for a couple of years and am so pleased I found it on Amazon. The delivery was very fast and it was packaged in an attractive box. I steamed the folded brim when I received it and it took shape right away. I store it on a hook on the back of a door by the ties.

I love this hat!!! It travels well rolled up and returns to its normal shape after! It looks awesome on and it is so effective for blocking the strong rays. I was in Costa Rica and I wore this on the beach and hiking and just hanging out in town. We were close to the equator where the sun is super strong and I was so grateful for it. It is stylish and functional and I love it!!!

It is a nice hat, packed well. But I wanted a truly hand-washable hat, especially for this white color. I sweat a lot, wanted to hand wash it, meaning get the hat in water, completely, with mild soap. The instructions say, “Spot Clean Only.” Will probably be returning it. If you don’t sweat, it might be fine.

I’ve finally found a hat I like and will wear! The width of the brim covers my neck and shades my eyes. It retains it shape well after being folded to fit in my bag. The color is neutral for any outfit and doesn’t get hot from the sun like darker colors.

Nice sun hat for price. Lightweight and offers two sizes for us larger headed ladies. It actually rolls up and unfolds very well for travel which isn’t always the case for Sun hats .

Of course I never look as good in hats as those Amazon models do, but this one is decent! It came folded and the black strap is pretty cheap looking but you can hide it behind your head if you don’t want to look at it. It was kind of annoying to straighten out this hat and it just barely fits. I have a smallish head so I thought small would fit well but maybe my hair is voluminous than I realized as it was a bit of an initial squeeze. The hat has grown on me though I always feel like I’m going on a safari when I wear it.
Pros:
-Hat material seems decent
-Good size
Cons:
-Hat comes folded and takes some time to straighten out – mine is still not fully formed after a few weeks
-Black strap seems a bit cheap
-Brim doesn’t fully block out the sun
