My poor partner can never fit his huge Asian head into normal sized glasses or hats. It’s not easy for wide and big skulled/jawed people out here! I felt encouraged when I saw that this hat comes with a L-XL option and took a chance! It fits great! I think it looks perfect on him and he appreciated the quality too. The thinner leather band style I chose looks very handsome and should be masculine enough for men and elegant for women.
Ladies who have medium to large size heads may want to consider this size as well. You can adjust it smaller if you’d like and it could prevent your hair from getting too smushed if that’s an issue. I’d consider myself a XS-S head as a petite woman and the M-L size fit very snugly with no adjustment! Just a warning.

Arrived promptly and well packaged. Other review mentioned too much packaging but i think in order for it to arrive in perfect condition then it justifies the extra bag and plastic mould that i was on. The plastic mould and bag will always come in useful for travelling or storage anyway if you dont want to fold it so i saw it as a bonus personally. No real need to discard the packaging then. The hat is good quality and easily adjustable, im average size but went with a large anyway as i sometimes have a scrunchie or clip in and didn’t want my head to feel squished, im glad i went with the large as its super quick to adjust.
Will get lots of use for sure, great purchase!

I love that this hat is adjustable, especially for unexpectedly windy outings. It looks beautiful, feels comfortable, and has wonderful sun coverage.

This is a gorgeous hat!! And so high end! Been looking for the perfect hat for YEARS! I try them on in person everywhere I go!! I was nervous to buy online due to fears about it being too big or wobbly or arriving mis-shaped from shipping. But this hat and company is amazing!! No need to hesitate if that’s your fear. They packaged it amazing well! Protecting every side and brim and curve of the hat. Appears to be a super high quality company. Instructions, packing and materials are top notch! They claim you can fold and pack and reshape and give good instructions for those steps as well as cleaning and general care. I personally haven’t tried that yet. I wear mine around town and out on the boat. I love the UPF 80 for protection against the sun! It seems thicker than most hats and not see through at all, so that claim seems believable. It has a chin strap to use if needed for wind or boats. I just tuck it up in the hat for everyday use and it’s no bother. I almost returned it just due to the size, until I found the adjustable strap. The M/L wobbled quite a bit on me. My crown measures 22”. I needed a Small but it wasn’t offered in the tan/black combo I wanted at the time. I was skeptical of the adjustable Velcro strap, but honestly the teeniest of adjustment made all the difference in the world!! Now it fits snug and custom with no gapping or wobble! I highly recommend!!!! I would definitely consider it medium brim size. Not large and floppy but not a small hat either. Perfectly in the middle!

This hat fits my BIG head perfectly. The packaging was fantastic. It arrived without any creases or bends. It was very stable. The strap keeps it from blowing down the beach or riding on a boat or gulf cart. Great sun protection with the perfect weight.

This hat has literally made it around the world with me! I always get compliments on it when I wear it out. The chin strap also helped me from losing the hat at the pyramids. The brim length is perfect for sun protection. I ordered the M/L originally even though I have a big head. I didn’t think there was an issue with it being snug until it got hot and my head got bigger and I couldn’t adjust it. I was looking for a 2nd hat for different options to wear, and none matched the quality. SO I decided to just order a 2nd one in the size larger, and it is great since I can adjust that one more snug. The only reason I didn’t have this at 5 stars is the chin strap drives me crazy when I’m not using it, which is 90% of the time. I wish there was an easy way to tuck it away when not in use besides in the band around the inside of the brim. Not a deal breaker for me overall, I do really love this product!!

I was pleasantly surprised with the quality of this hat. It was packaged very nicely to protect its shape. The hat is versatile and provides great sun protection/coverage and yet stylish. The fit is adjustable but yet you’d never know that it had an adjustable band inside (again because the quality of the hat hides it so well).

Absolutely love it. Great quality. No flaws whatsoever. The fedora style crown gives it a classy, polished vibe. Even though the hat band is faux suede it doesn’t look cheap. The string has a nice attachment that is even and slides smoothly to keep it from blowing off. Overall, it looks more expensive than it is. It was well packaged in a large box, and ready to wear right away. Hard clear plastic insert underneath the hat, combined with hard cardboard ring on top, and plastic bag offered great protection. I’d definitely by it again if I ever needed a replacement.

I love this hat! The price isn’t bad either! It is adjustable on the inside and seems pretty sturdy. I use it for hiking even though it is a hat that you could wear with every day outfits.
