Yeah so I have had “thin dresses before, and small fitting.
Unlike what the reviews said, to my surprise this was neither of those. The material I was fear ih ng the worst (especially considering this wouldn’t ship/arrive for two or so weeks after purchasing). I was expecting extremely cheap material, paper thin polyester that may tear like nylons. I dunno something like that.
To my surprise the material while not what I expected feels more kinda soft like satin (but obviously not satin). You could say the more “fake cheap satin” or “foe affordable satin” you could get at any nearby retailer when you dont want to spend the price for the real stuff but also dont care for it to be almost close to the real thing.
And this is coming from someone whose been known since my earliest childhood to be a “texture” girl. So I pay attention to details like this.
Now as I said ,is the material cheaper Yes, and it certainly isn’t the type of material you could possibly expect of being more polyester trying to be cotton. But that’s okay I like it.
Now I just got it and havent tested it out kn the son. It could be it’s not as breathable and I’ll update if not. Or if it happens to be like wearing a tented sauna.
But in my best guess and experience, this tyoe of material should keep you cool. Possibly even better then the fake cotton polyester would.
I also will not if your expecting to have the colors be more muddled or not as popping as the pics…

Like me, yeah then dont be surprised when it’s as bright if not brighter then expected.
The red flowers certainly were more red pink then I expected. But that’s okay. I was afraid being extremely fare porcelain pale (where I hardly if ever can find a matching shade in the lightest available shade) yeah I was used to if July expecting for one white even off white like this to not do well for my skin. I admire I think its what’s kept me away from buying more sundresses even if they’re particular and just keeping the two sundresses I probably got over five years ago at macy’s and another at a little storefront old drug store Wuimpys by the beach. (Yeah I keep things pretty good looking so they can last long as possible). With issues loosing weight for years I just didnt see reason to buy sundresses. But this summer with a new job and trying to get out there, I finally have decided to splurge on three new sundresses thsi beibg one if them.
HONESTLY I may post pictures later, but I thrilled and excited to wear this one out.
Actually now that I think of it one of my even older sundresses (that now that I thinknof I havent seen for a while and is probably in storage somewhere) literally was what I was expecting of thsi. That ones more of the traditional thin cotton. But despite being off white and having generously sized flowers and leaves is something I never coukd wear without soe thing uh underneath and is far thinner from this one. And I swear I probably paid more money for it tio back then (I mean only thing thst one had that this ik ne dowsnt is kinda an old fashioned lace trim on bottom and I think sleeves or neck/chest.). But yeah now that I realize it. This one is definetly by one quick try not as thin that I feel I have to worry so much about watching what I have underneath or adding layers.
But as someoen who chafes easily I’ll probably be wearing bike shorts or shaper underneath regaurdless. So I may not be the best pmtrlarget to say nothing’s needed.
I do agree with others saying its shirt. It is. But it also isnt the shortest I’ve seen.
I think if your okay with it being probably barely acceptable for that rule (don’t know if it still applies high school rule where skirts coukdnt be past a certain length of the finger tips. So barely passing that rule, then you should be okay. I’m a fairly modest person and even I considered with a try on being comfortable with just my undies under it in a rush.
Again speaking from first try. Will update after wearing for a day.
But also it just depends on the person. Wljkd you probably feel comfortable having more underneath. it’s upto you. But likely yeah, cause I mean where I live breezes will catch you and yeah, dont want to be the one caught jn the wind and suddenly flash or have a Marilyn Monroe moment.
Overall yeah as of now I’ll tolerate a 5 of 5, if it was a scale of 10 maybe 8 or 9 out of ten.
I was impressed enough that as someone who doenst usually give reviews I was compelled to come and give one.
Also p ol ease ignore any errors right now. I wrote this on my glitchy cell that has a laggy horrible keyboard with even more glitchy autocorrect. I’ll get around to fixing this hopefully later and on ng computer.

Hopefully you enjoy it too and this helps you make a decision on purchasing. As the other reviews made me hesitant. I wanted to give one to assure those who were hesitant like me but give as good of a description as possible.

This dress is very light and thin, but not see through. I recommend wearing a strapless bra. Super cute. The thinness of it makes it ideal in this heat. The colors are gorgeous and I keep getting compliments. I’m heavy in my belly area but the elastic on my waist helps hide it as the dress somewhat A lines. Happy I made this purchase.

This dress is so cute and comfy. It gives you that girly, fun and flirty feeling. The fit was good, wasn’t see through and the color looked gorgeous against my vacation tan.

I bought this dress for my senior photos. It is thin, but still good quality, comfortable, and very pretty and flowy! It worked out perfectly for my pictures on the beach.

This product is made from the same “fabric” the giant parachute you used in gym class circa 1993 is made from. It doesn’t look like real clothing, it looks like a cheap Halloween costume. Certainly not worth more than $10. The fit is okay, but I’d say it runs a tad small.

This is my new favorite dress!! It is soooo flattering and fits great!! It is super lightweight but not cheap or see-through. The fabric is super soft and the pattern is so adorable!! 100/10 definitely recommend this dress!!

This dress is gorgeous and fit me very well- I typically am a size 10 in dresses (36dd and curvy bottom half) and it was very sexy/ a good fit in a pull on style. However the one major flaw of this dress is that the white dress is not lined. So basically you have to wear nude underwear or no undies at all. Very disappointing- wish this dress had been at least partially lined- this is going back.
Edit: I reordered it in the white/pink floral in a medium and it looks really nice and does not appear see thru. It is a little short on my 5’4” frame but looks adorable and expensive! Still feel it should be lined on the bottom half and a tad longer but for the price I like it. Material is light weight which is good for summer but not moisture wicking.

The textile has a nice colour, but it’s synthetic, so it makes you feel hot and suffocated pretty easily. Not recommended.

I’m very excited about this dress because it looks so good on the picture however it’s not the same when I got it, the material just cheaply made and smell weird. It’s very thin like paper and fit very unflattering and now I’m stuck with it cuz I don’t have the time to do all the packing and returning stuff, so annoying and it’s not cheap either so I’m going to have to find sometimes to go to ups to return it. So don’t waste your time and money!
