I took a star off because nowhere in the product description was the width of the belt given, and it’s rather misleading to show it on jeans, because it’s somewhat thinner in width than most jeans belts are. However, the belt is very well made and I can certainly use it, albeit not for the jeans I had in mind. When I first saw it I thought, ‘really? I paid $40 CDN for This?’ But it’s a very slick belt and it holds quite well.

This is a pretty good belt. Seems to be of good quality. Even though the buckle is plastic, it seems well-made and doesn’t seem likely to break without some serious abuse. Likewise, the elastic band is of good quality and doesn’t seem likely to fray the way elastic stuff sometimes will. Definitely far less bulky than a normal belt, but not quite as supportive. But it works well enough for my purposes! My only real complaint is that it tends to ride up above the waistband of my pants (especially my jeans). I wish there was some silicone piping on the back to keep it in place, because it is so flexible and stretchy that belt loops do not entirely keep it in place. I really like that it is adjustable. I am in the process of losing weight, and I have lost about 10 lbs since I bought this belt. Where I might have to punch new holes in a regular belt, with this one I just adjust it a little tighter and I’m good to go! This is a huge plus for me because I still have another 50 lbs to go and the rate at which clothes are becoming obsolete makes it frustrating to try to buy anything new right now.

So far it works, is widely adjustable & lays flat, so I’m keeping. That said, the buckle and slide adjuster feel and look flimsy & cheap. Hope it doesn’t break. Seems like a $10 value for about $20. Time will tell.

It took me a while to get used to this belt; it’s a bit fiddly at first and I still keep putting it in the belt loops the wrong way round but it once it’s in it does the job. I’m hoping it will stop me getting holes in tea shirts from buckles. It certainly stops unsightly bulges under tops.

So I said at this point in my life I am just a few days from my 80 Birthday 🎂.
Not time to start buying lots of clothes.
All though I just got a few dresses from Amazon smaller size.
So I thought that this belt would work to hold up my jeans.easy to use easy off.
Size is adjustable.Good for the money.

Great quality, I have these kind of elastic belts from 3 companies, most cheaper but some terrible quality. The Beltaway ones have great buckle that does not ope by itself, the elastic fabric is thick and firm. This is a second (or maybe third) time I buy Beltaway. They would not disappoint!

Der Verschluss vorne hält richtig gut. Es waren innerhalb des Verschlusses 4 Grate die von der Produktion gewesen waren. Habe ich in 60 Sekunden mit einer Handnagelfeile abgeschliffen. War zwar unnötig aber ich bin ein Perfektionist. Bester Kauf seit Langem.Nobrainer.

The Beltaway Customer Service team impressed me with their proactive response to an inventory issue. I had ordered a “Square Buckle Plus Size” in denim blue, and when they realized it wasn’t available, they promptly shipped me an “Original Buckle” in denim blue, plus 2 additional “square buckle” belts in different colors at no cost to me! The gift was accompanied by a very polite handwritten note signed by “Mark”. Both the gift and the note were unexpectedly kind gestures, and much appreciated.
I’ve been wearing my belts for several months now, so I can give an accurate review of their performance. The belts certainly do everything they claim to. They lay flat and are inconspicuous under knits. They are fantastic in preventing the dreaded over-exposure caused by pants that gap in the back. Sure, they are not the most fashionable belt around, but look OK with jeans and casual bottoms. For anyone pointing out that they are “just” an elastic with a plastic buckle–that’s correct, but I sew, and thus have priced the parts to make a similar belt, and you wouldn’t save a penny making your own. First, flat buckles are hard to come by, especially in any color other than black (plus most look like they belong in dog collars…because they do) and elastic of comparable thickness and quality is expensive. So, unless you’re planning to buy buckles in lots of 100, and elastic on huge rolls, you cannot make a similar belt for less than you can buy these on Amazon.
Final thoughts: the belts are adjustable for a custom fit, don’t roll uncomfortably when worn, don’t stretch out during they day, and lay flat under fine knits. They are fairly priced and, after 3-4 months of use, they appear they’ll last for a long time. Great performance coupled with excellent customer service makes this a very good buy.

I purchased this belt in black and so far it has worked really well. The elastic is thick and lays flat, and the plastic buckle is easy to use and seems sturdy.
I use this belt for a pair of pants that fits me well in the hips but is a little too big in the waist. Without the belt, the pants slip down my hips a few inches, and I have to constantly pull them up. I mention this because results may vary if you’re using this belt to hold up a pair of pants that is several sizes too big. I’m not doing that, so I can’t comment on the belt’s performance for that situation. This belt keeps my pants in place without the need to readjust during the day. Success!
I’ve seen some review mention that when unbuckling the belt, the elastic snaps back through their belt loops. My belt slips back just one belt loop, which is a pretty small price to pay for a belt that doesn’t need constant adjustment throughout the day. It’s very easy to grab the loose end and rebuckle. I find there is really no need to cinch the belt super tight as the elastic is thick and holds well – but again, I’m not using this on pants several sizes too big, so YMMV there.
