I had been eyeing these sandals for a while and got them on sale. I had read a looot of reviews and most if not all of them said that these sandals run big; even on the dr. martens site it said, these sandals run big so after measuring my feet and comparing it to the measurements provided, I ordered a 6 (I’m a size 7, 7.5). First impression: WOW! These are beautiful! The higher platform makes it much more attractive than the regular blaire sandals. Sadly, they were too short (lengthwise) for my taste. I think there was about 1-2cm of the back of my feet outside the border of the sandal and I just hate that. Nevertheless, they were incredibly comfortable during the 5 minutes that I had them on. I dunno how they would wear since Docs have the unwavering reputation of killing your feet until they get molded to your body. 😂 Ultimately, I returned them and ordered the 7. I am now waiting for those to arrive and will update once they arrive. 😜
UPDATE:
I received the size 7 today and they fit perfect! They feel heavy like all Docs feel but overall I find them really comfortable. I love them. They look so cute! I am not a sandal person whatsoever but I decided to get out of my comfort zone with these. I’ve seen some reviews about bad bad blisters and I have suffered a quite amount of them with the boots I own so I will be taking some precautions when wearing them.

I’ve had these for about a month now and have worn them several times. They are very comfortable. Have not had any issues with blisters although be careful, because they did rub on my ankles once which could potentially injure the skin. I still love them very much. They look so cute with all kinds of outfits. So, officially recommend these.

Han sido un regalo de cumpleaños para mi hija, así que sólo puedo opinar como espectador.
Aunque no se vea marca o logo en una gran etiqueta (cosa de agradecer), la sandalia no esconde que es Dr. Martens nada más verla. Se aprecia calidad en los materiales y la hechura; calza excelentemente el habitual número de pie en otro tipo de calzado como puedan ser zapatos o botas (aunque supongo que cada cual tendrá sus peculiaridades). Me parecen preciosas!
Mi hija está contentísima y comodísima subida a ese andamio. Jajaja.

I’ve been wanting to get these for years and finally took the plunge. I’m so glad I did! They elevate every outfit I wear and they’re so stylish. The stitching can be painful if you’re not used to doc martens but I bought something to go over the stitching and it helped them be more comfortable.
I did get a size 9 which I’m usually a 8.5 and they fit great and if you have the strap too loose, your foot may have some wiggle room so I’d recommend having them as tight as you can handle.

I have multiple pairs of platform doc sandals and they are all perfect so I had high hopes for these ones. The straps are so loose that the shoe almost falls off or trips me with every step and I don’t have narrow/ small feet. However, I really like the color and I’m going to keep them for that reason and try to make them work.

I ordered my regular size 9 (usually a 9, but sometimes an 8.5) and I had to return it for an 8. The 8s fit nicely but the straps around the foot aren’t adjustable so just be aware if you have a narrow foot. I would not consider my foot narrow and there’s a little bit of sliding. As for comfort I wore them to a vineyard, I didn’t walk much but I did have some rubbing on the back of my ankle, not enough to actually break the skin or anything but you may want a few short wears before you’re out all day in them. Super cute, easy to walk in. I recommend!

Love these sandals for the summer. Normally I am a size 7 but had to size down to a 6. These fit good for a wider foot then a narrow.

Consegna Amazon perfetta. Il sandalo è una tortura. La cosa peggiore è che ti crea vesciche e abrasioni sui piedi un dolore tremendo. La taglia non corrisponde è almeno di una misura più grande. Quindi ti trovi ad avere speso almeno 130 euro che ti scorticano i piedi e sembri che hai rubato le scarpe di mamma. La 36 corrisponde alla 35 ma nonostante larga fa male ovunque. Le ho messe con 4 cerotti al piede e dopo tanto ancora mi fanno sanguinare le caviglie

This is my second pair of Doc Marten’s black sandals. Due to my height (under 5′), I decided to purchase a higher platform. The look is FABULOUS! The comfort not. For some reason the back strap rubs my foot and causes blisters. I would like to return them for a full refund. I’ve tried wearing socks to hopefully wear them in. Not happening. I purchased a pair identical to these with a lower platform and wish to return these for the purchase of the lower platforms in the 5.5 size. The previous ones I have (lower platform) have been extremely comfortable although the tread is beginning to wear, I would welcome the opportunity to purchase another – they are great!

These shoes are a higher wedge and very cute on! As mentioned in some of the other reviews, these shoes are loose in the strap areas. Another review suggested putting weather stripping in the straps. In the video you can see I applied weather stripping and they fit fantastic now. They don’t slop around when walking. They seem very durable and are made of high quality materials. Great shoe for the price.

The shoes run big, I am always a size 9 womens but the size 8 length fit well. The sandals look cute on but are very uncomfortable due to the inner material on ankle strap rubbing skin and causing pain regardless of strap being adjusted. If I hadn’t worn them I’d return.
