The strap drags on the ground when I walk. What do I do with all that extra strap when they’re on? I don’t have flat feet and I didn’t get the wrong size. Folks say to cut it but then it wouldn’t be able to keep from being pulled out of the buckle. Others say to tuck it in the back strap but I worry it’ll make my heels blister. Some say to roll it up and tuck it under the buckle but that means I’ll hafto pay attention while wearing them to adjust and re roll the strap. Some say to safety pin it and that seems the most secure but who wants to do that every time you wear them? Is this a design flaw? They are surprisingly heavy, the fit is perfect except for this long ass strap, comfortable once you get the concept of how to loosen and tighten the straps but that definitely took some time to figure out. The arch support is good. They are completely adjustable but again it leaves a long ass strap when tightened.
Update: after about a week of daily wear these are literally rubbing the skin off of my feet. I can only wear them for about an hour before they start hurting. No I don’t have them adjusted too tight.

These are great sandals. These sandals can be dressed up or down. I am so happy with them. Once you figure out how to adjust them. There is a learning curve since these sandals can be adjusted from the foot bed, in a few different places, there should be a little instruction card that comes with these. These are really comfortable, if you’ve never owned Chacos before, you may need to spend a day or so breaking them in.

I really love these shoes. I am used to wearing flip flops (teva) constantly in the summer but needed to more solid shoes for camp. The design is beautiful but adjusting the straps is a bit of a pain and my big toe is always a little squished no matter how lose the strap starts. As you walk the straps around your foot loosen making the toe strap tighter but you do get used to it and I will say that I am not worried about them coming off my feet ever. The first time I wore them it was a little uncomfortable because they hard fairly hard rubber. I got blisters on the back of my heels from the strap but after they healed the straps no longer hurt. My feet have also gotten used to the texture of the shoe so it is no longer uncomfortable. I recommend these shoes to anyone who plans on going hiking around some water or just walking around. Little warning though, they do get slippery after they get in water so use caution around rocks.

After reading the reviews and looking all over the internet for a fairly priced pair of sandals i can wear anytime of the day and just about any occasion. Not wanting to spend over $50 I got these for a little less than $30 and being the original brand chaco I was very satisfied with this purchase. Once adjusted they fit comfortably and will be wearing the rest of today and memorial day weekend.

I first bought a pair of regular size Chaco (the black ones on the pictures) from another shop and had to return them because they were too narrow.
My feet are 23.8 cm long (7 US or 38 EUR) and 10 cm wide.
Chaco doesn’t deliver to Canada and none of the styles I wanted were available in wide.
Found this seller on Amazon and was skeptic at first since there were no reviews.
Received the pair in 4 days and they fit!
Easy to adjust (Chaco has directions on the adjustments on their website).
Very happy with my order.
I’ll put them to test and will repost for an update.

I normally wear a size 8 so that is what I bought. They seemed just a little bit too short. So I returned them and bought the size nine which seemed just a little too long. I return those and the Goldilocks in me bought the eight wide and they fit just right. I’m assuming the run a bit narrow since I’ve never bought wide before but they feel great.
Excellent arch support, room for a big toe bunion to poke out comfortably, and easy to adjust.
Some of the reviews say the adjustability wasn’t awesome but it seems great to me. These are the first chacos I’ve ever bought so they could mean compared to other chacos but I have zero complaints.

I have some foot issues so I’ve consistently bought and worn this shoe for years. Good looking shoe that promotes good foot health!

I typically wear a women’s 7 in most shoes and 6.5 in sandals. I’ve never had chacos before and I saw several people saying to size down if you’re typically a half size, but also saw some saying to size up. I decided to look up their size guide and based on the length of my foot it said I should be a 6 and I’m super happy I went with the 6. I was a bit worried they were knockoffs based on the fact they were $27 and I’ve never seen chacos that cheap on amazon, but they seem legit, except for the fact the QR code on the tags have a sharpie mark through them for some reason. I was a bit worried about the straps since a lot of people said they had issues adjusting them, but it took about 5 seconds to adjust them and they feel great. Can’t wait to wear these next time I go kayaking!

My last pair of Chaco’s were amazing and I used them for everything from hiking and canoeing to wearing them at work. However, I can’t seem to find the same fit now – the 8 regular is too narrow at the heels (it feels like they’re boring holes into the sides of each heel within an hour of wearing them) and the 8 wide are way too wide (it feels like I have tennis racquets strapped to my feet). What happened to this shoe, Chaco designers?

What I like about this brand is the sole, arch support. No more turned in anckes, knee pain. Comfortable straps, size correct. Straps adjustment move with ease. These shoes are durable. Put them in a pillow case, them the washing machine. My husband wears his Chaco 24/7. Be good to your feet, but Chaco!

When I read the reviews of these sandals I didn’t believe that you don’t have to wear them in… But I have been wearing them non -stop for 4 days and they feel like they were made for my feet. I have wide feet and usually find sandals either too tight or floppy with no support. These are amazingly supportive. It took me a while to arrange the tension of the straps to be “just right”, but now that they are right, they fit snugly and are so comfy – all day sandals, no blisters!
The other wonderful feature is that they can get wet, still not rub, don’t feel soggy and dry quickly. I want something I can hike and swim in and I have every confidence that these will do that magnificently!
