This high-waist skirt has a comfortable elastic waist. It feels like the Amazon pictures look… it looks and feels slick. I think this will work for both casual and evening applications.
Pics show before (out of the package) and after (washed and ironed), medium size choice on 5′ 4″ frame.
The tag says use a cold iron, I used a 3-of-7 heat setting because the folds out of the package persisted through a wash cycle and took a good deal of ironing to work them out. It looked like the iron made some discoloration at first, but when the skirt fully dried it was all fine as you can see from the pic.
Overall a very nice long skirt.

I love this skirt!! As someone who is on the taller side (5’8-5’9), I had trouble finding a skirt that didn’t cut off at the calves, and this one is the perfect length.
The skirt also very thick, heavy, and has a great satin-like shine. Also, the shape of the skirt makes it flow down in a very flattering way. Plus, I love the (hidden) elastic band in the back of the skirt!
My only complaint is that the skirt does wrinkle. Regardless, it is easy to steam/iron and the thickness of the skirt allows some forgiveness that thinner, wrinkly skirts don’t have.

The skirt is flowy and has a built in elastic in the back that lived up to the advertisement found on the product page. My most recent waist measurement is approx. 29inches and size small fits me thanks to that elastic. The fabric is shiny, mostly polyester and it wrinkles as seen on the photos I took. I have not bothered ironing it yet, but if I do, I will turn the fabric inside out, use an appropriate setting and maybe cover it with a cloth to avoid potential damage.

This is made with soft, silky fabric that feels super. It looks amazing! You must be careful wearing it, the fabric will show *anything you get on it. You must iron it when you get it, and it’ll try to wrinkle or get creases if you store it wrong. Still, it is beautiful and makes me feel good wearing it. So I gave it four stars because it is fussy to care for! It’s a beautiful garment that I will love to wear until it gets spoiled, Til then I love it.

This satin maxi skirt is stunning… the fabric is shiny, silky, and comfortable to wear! I normally wear a large so I ordered the large and it fits me perfectly… the length is also great! Because of the nature of the fabric when I place certain things on my lap they like to slide off… it’s a very slippery and lightweight fabric with a wonderful sheen to it. There are no pockets however the elastic waistband ensures a nice fit. The quality is excellent and it’s well made.
This skirt is so stylish… I recommend it! It’s a good value for the money and I love it!

This skirt is beautiful. I love the texture. It’s so silky and soft. It’s perfectly even after having a baby. It’s stretches for me now but once I lose a couple pounds it will still fit because of the stretch. I definitely recommend this skirt and can’t wait to wear it to church.

It’s okay. It comes incredibly wrinkled, which makes it hard to judge. I’m going to wash it and see what happens, but so far I’m not in love. There isn’t as much fabric as the picture alludes to, and it’s not quite as flowy as I had expected. There’s still a good bit to it, but the pleats at the top aren’t the most flattering, and I think it would look better if it were fuller like the picture. If anything, I think this could look cute for like a renaissance faire costume or something, but I don’t think it will make it into my regular wardrobe like I had hoped.

The quality of this skirt is lovely. I like the versatility of it being dressed down or up.
FABRIC: It’s a beautiful satin polyester. That being said, it is extremely difficult to care for. Upon taking it out of the packaging, there were ALOT of deep fold creases that did not come out in the first wash. I ended up having to take a steam iron to the inside of the fabric, which is a precarious process with satin fabrics, because the water from the steam can stain the fabric if applied incorrectly. I made it through the ironing process decently well. These images are from after my attempt at ironing it. But upon wearing it, my ring snagged a line in the fabric and a bit of liquid from a cup stained it as well. I wouldn’t recommend this skirt for someone who does not know how to care for delicate satin fabrics.
FIT: I am 5′ 5″, 200lbs, and typically wear an XL or 14/16. I ordered the XL size and it fits perfectly! The stretchy back allows for me to wear it at my hips comfortably. However, I prefer to wear at my waistline which does make the fit a tiny bit looser. It’s very flattering at the waistline. I just wish it had pockets!
COLOR: The brown color is a bit more of an auburn / burnt orange and it is lovely in person.
Overall, it is a very beautiful skirt and will take a bit more attention to care for. Be careful not to spillor drop things on the fabric. Go by the size chart and get ready for plenty of compliments when you wear it out!
