I’m not a runner, but I am very happy with the Brooks Women’s Glycerin 20 Neutral Running Shoe. I use these for walking. The arch support is excellent, and I feel like I am literally bouncing off of the pavement. The cushion has greatly helped my knees and ankles. I think they will last a long time, and I will buy them again if they are available when the time comes.

I wore this Brooks out of the box on a trek in Arizona’s Antelope canyon and horseshoe ridge and this shoes proved itself. No blisters, socks did not get ” eaten ” by the shoes, breathable uppers and soft but supportive at the same time, firm but not hurtful heels support, shoe laces are long enough and it only came undone once, forefoot is wide enough that I could wiggle my toes inside the shoes, thick soles that protected my feet from walking on those gravel and stones paths.
My regular street shoes size is 7.5 and this shoes is tts even with my cushioned heel socks on.
It was the heat of around 110 to 112 degrees F that I was complaining about and it’s not the shoes’ fault.
At least I was wearing a very comfy shoes.

If you like Brookes then you won’t be disappointed unless you were really looking forward to them being lilac or a darker purple as described. I knew they could have been black and they are. They definitely looked black & white & yup! They look in real life & on here to “ME” black & white!! LOL 😂 😂 You could totally go shoe shopping in my closet. I have about brand 20 new pairs of sneakers alone and all but about 3 are black and white, the others gray black and white. I recently decided to start adding color in my life and thought I was putting myself out there and well… OH WELL… these are a different black and white that I don’t sorta have? 🤔 Guess Ill need another pair. I will just try a different pair. At least they werent blue. I don’t like blue. Dark blue anyway. Long story short, If you wanted lilac, or a purple, they are not. They are comfortable like all Brookes and if you have a wide foot, size up one if they don’t have a wide and you should be fine. Sometimes wides are too wide in shoes, and reg can be fine for wide feet. Sometimes wides are not wide enough. These are Med and a good Med. I have 1 foot that needs an extra W & at times the W is not wide enough for my 1 foot. If you need that wide of a Wide get a mens Wide, if they have them? These are nice and comfortable to workout out or spend the day shopping, walking or working. If you have ever worn Hokas, Brookes, are cut smaller. I consider Hokas to be larger by a whole size. These are great they came in a timely manner apparently from the UK? It was sooner then they had originally stated anyway. Great quality! Star is for the color. They are just not Lilac.

I really like the brand Brooks. I bought these for road running. I have ran in them several times now. The shoes have great support and there is a lot of cushioning. The shoes feel very soft and comfortable every time I put them on. The shoes are durable to this point. I haven’t found any issues with them breaking down. I’m a bigger female so my running shoes tend to break down faster and these have held up. The shoes are a little pricey, but do go on sale sometimes. I feel that the price for the value is still good though. I will continue to purchase Brooks Glycerins in the future.

I have developed a foot issue and was looking for a sneaker to help. The cushion in these shoes is amazing. Almost springy like. The whole shoe has nice cushion giving that support you need for the whole foot. This feature is what sold me instead of buying another shoe. This is the only shoe that my feet don’t hurt in currently. The material doesn’t look like it will hold up to years of wear, but if I can get a solid 1-2 years in, we’re good. The fit is slightly on the small side, but it’ll do. My toe just hits the top but not enough to go a half size smaller. I like the way your foot almost rolls with the shoe when you walk also. Very nice feature.

I am insanely picky about my running shoes, how they look and how comfy they are. These shoes tick all the boxes! Super comfy, easy to change the insole and gives plenty of steadiness with a thick base to the bottom. I wasn’t sure before i ordered it but i’m so glad i picked this one. They are heavenly, i’m so happy!!!

I ordered a 9 narrow but these fit like a B width. They are also short in the toe area. It is too bad because the sole is really cushy and feels wonderful when walking.

I love Brooks shoes. I am a nurse and work long hours on my feet. This glycerin model is super cushioned. They have a wider toe box. There is a wide variety of colors. I don’t care for all the wild colors of some running shoes, so this pink was perfect for me. This is my second pair and just love them.

I bought these because I needed support for being on my feet 6+ hours straight. I have no foot discomfort, and my lower back pain has lessened. For a wide shoe, these are actually really wide and leave a lot of space. These are very versatile too, I can dress them up or keep it casual and sporty. I think you get what you pay for, and that’s quality. Would recommend if you’re looking for something supportive!

I wore these on a trip to Italy and Spain where I walked about 400km including a 200km stretch of the Camino de Santiago. Not. One. Blister. This was the only pair of shoes I brought and I had no regrets. A stylish sneaker with practical padding, I navigated all sorts of terrain and looked good doing it. I cannot believe the quality for the price point. So glad I didn’t drop more money for Hokas or another name brand. These Brooks did the job. 10/10 would purchase again but I won’t need to because they have held up so well despite putting them through the ringer on my adventure. They are very dusty but the bottoms still look barely worn! I’m amazed and impressed. I have a wide foot and hammer toes. These did not bother the tops of my toe joints or constrict my foot. I felt so supported and so cushioned the whole time. Incredible.
