I don’t know why anyone serious about working out would buy anything but Brooks. I’ve run hundreds of thousands of miles in them and finally at 66 I have my first breakdown on my body. I am sure that if I was running in anything but Brooks, this would have happened long ago. If you want your body to go the long distance, buy Brooks now. The 16s are a bit different in the toe box then the 15s, but I found them equally as comfortable. I am a heel striker and they offer plenty of cushion and support for my relatively high arch. Unfortunately my knee has my patella rubbing on my femur, but I have also been a carpenter nearly all my life and attribute that to my knee condition more than my long distance running fetish. BUY BROOKS!!

My shoe size is hard to find, women’s size 13 narrow. When I find one that fits and is comfortable, I purchase another. In this case I purchased 3, 2 black and one pink/black. My feet just say thank you as I slip them in to these shoes. The fit, cush, and support are wonderful. I’ve found cheaper athletic shoes in my size but they run a bit small and lack the comfort these give. My feet are worth the added expense! Thank you so much! I was almost giving up hope of finding some that fit, as my old brooks ghost 13 narrows were definitely worn out from all the steps and workouts they had taken me!

The shoes are extremely comfortable. I run a fair amount and workout frequently during the week and these hold up so well. I read other reviews before I bought them – but it’s true, these shoes feel like I’m walking on clouds. Great support with the cushion.

I have very picky feet and legs. These are beautiful, well made, but a little narrow in the toes. Also, they are a little too spongey for me and were pulling my knee, so I returned them. I love the Glycerin, so will probably stick with that style.

This is my first pair of Brooks, but it will not be my last. I wore these shoes on a recent trip to theme parks in Florida and my feet did not hurt! I have worn other brands in the past on my Orlando trips and experienced foot pain, but not with these. These shoes fit well and are quite comfortable. I also loved the colors in this pair. Brooks are an investment, but I feel it was worth it.

As I have gotten older I need more support in my shoes when I walk and exercise. The Brooks Ghost 16 is my go-to shoe. My shoe inserts fit wonderfully in them. I feel well balanced when I walk and exercise. I even think my lower back aches less because these shoes help my body stay aligned. I’ll buy them again and I recommend them highly.
