I have been running for several years in Hokas. I did a half marathon in them (and all the training leading up to it). My husband has run ultra distance in Hoka so he pretty much made me get them when I started running. He said they were the “best”. Well everyone’s feet are not the same! I tried to love them. I did love how they were squishy on the bottom and provided a lot of cushion. But I have to admit I dealt with a lot of blisters long after I had broken them in, after my half and everything. The blisters continued on. Not because theyre bad shoes, but because of my feet. I took the test on Brooks website. My feet turn out, they are flat, and I need a lot of support. I get a lot of pain in my feet and lower legs with the wrong footwear. So I ordered this brooks after some research. I’ve ran about 40 miles in them so far and I love them!! No blisters at all. I feel a ton of support. These have been so comfortable for me, and almost nothing else is. Everyone is different though. If you have bad feet these are worth taking a look at and BONUS is that they’re significantly cheaper than brands like Hoka!

I have tendonitis and this shoe is so supportive. I was able to walk 9 miles yesterday without pain. Great support. The performance is great in these shoes. Excellent quality’s. I had no pain after all those miles! The material is breathable and the color is as shown.

Due to my fiance having small feet, finding shows has always been difficult. These are perfect they breath well are comfortable with great support, the quality is great she loves the color and they don’t hurt her feet at all. When we need to buy more shoes these will be on the top of the list.

This is my second pair. Wear them to work in the ER, can pop them in the washing machine if they get dirty, and they hold up about a year. Cute, comfy shoes at a good price. Will buy Brooks again.

The basic Facts: I have flat-feet. I have bunions on both feet. I pronate with my right foot. I have worn orthotics since I was 18 yrs. old. I run/walk approximately 10-15 miles per week. I have tried on and do not like marshmellow cushioning advertised by many shoe manufacturers (Hokas), and perfer “less as more”. I currently wear ASICS Trail runners – for the great stability, and fit w/o being too wide in the toe-box. I did A LOT of research looking for a sneaker that would accomodate my conditions – especially for running. I stayed in the ASICS family and tried ASICS Women’s Gel-Kayano LITE 3 Running Shoes – many different features for my foot-specific needs, but alas, developed 2 blisters upon first wear – not my idea of a well fitting shoe, and they were returned. I found the Brooks Women’s Adrenaline GTS 22…and based on Amazon reviews and user recommendations, purchased a half-size larger shoe than my normal size 9. Out of the box, I found that I had so much extra length, that I could easily put my index finger behind my heel. Walking around the house, I felt the toe-box had too much room – kinda “sloppy” to me; as in my foot would move side to side, NOT a secure/stable feeling.
I exchanged the 9.5 for my normal size 9’s and they fit perfectly lenght-wise and is not excessive in the toe-box flex room. Many reviewers had a negative comment about the lenght of the laces. I did not experience short laces with either the size 9.5 or the 9 shoes… they are long enough – had extra lace to have a 3-inch tie extend from each side of bow. I also did not experience slipping of these flat laces when in use. Cushioning was a pleasent surprise – like Goldilocks “just-right” for me; an increase from the ASIC trail runners, but not marshmellowy in any way. My first run felt really good – stable, non-constrictive yet very secure, no forward movement of the foot in the shoe; no sloppy, side-to-side foot movement. The outer soles also did well to prevent slippage on wet surfaces that day. Overall happy with these for running. Looking forward to see how Brooks brand hold up over time!

These are the best walking sneakers that I’ve ever had. The toe box is very wide and the shoe is very supportive

I’ve worn this shoe before-Amazon had the best price so I purchased a pair to replace my worn out pair. As some people have written, the laces are not overly long but I can tie them without difficulty. As I mentioned, I’ve worn this model of shoe before and knew what to expect. I bought these in my usual size and they are comfortable and fit well. If you have not worn this shoe before, you might want to try them on and see what you think before purchasing from an online retailer. I do suggest checking out Amazon’s prices before purchasing because in my case, Amazon had the best price.
