Update: I bought a second anklet. The doctor silver chain. So far it’s slightly more sturdy, no signs of breaking and no tarnishing. Wore it hiking and swimming and showering and daily everyday wear for over a week now and it’s still shiny and good condition. I’m glad I gave it another chance and I hope this one holds up well. I would have appreciated a reply of sorts from the seller about my first one being defective.
I wore this all day at the beach, just sitting gently in the water. No issues with tarnish. I wore it for 3 days over vacation. Very lovely and dainty. Then on the 4th day it broke apart while I was walking. It was not too tight or anything.
