I bought this skirt for a renaissance fair costume and it exceeded my expectations! The material is super soft and breathable (so nice to find something in cotton instead of some sort of synthetic material) so it was great for walking around in the sun all day. The pockets are super cute too and I LOVED the color!! I will say I’m on the tall side so the skirt hits like a midi (just at mid-calf). Which was perfect for me but noting just in case helpful!

These are the soft, textured gauze skirts I was looking for. I got the yellow in XL and purple in L. I generally wear a size 14 in womens pants. They both fit equally well. The elastic band on the L is actually looser than the XL, but still a bit shorter than the XL. It should be noted that these are not true smocked waists, but rather some very loose smocking with a thick, elastic band (about 1and1/2 inch wide) at top. I dont mind this because I could not find this specific fabric style in a skirt anywhere else and these are exactly what I was looking for. I happen to LOVE the pockets, I love that they are on the outside rather than on-seam, and the ties really do help secure things. Ive carried my cellphone around in the pocket without issue. Overall, I just love these soft, whimsical skirts and plan to get a lot of summertime frolicking done in them.

I love the length, the smocking over the hips, the soft comfy fabric, the comfort, the pockets and the looks. I’m 5’10” 150lb, 29” waist and 39” hips and ordered the large – I must have read something about tight elastic because I’m normally a medium. Anyway it fits perfectly. The photo is dark but the olive color is nice and soft, not dark. It is consistent with the photos online.

The nicely made pull on skirt, and material is perfect for most occasions. Small side pockets with little ties are adorable. Stretchy top on skirt can accommodate waistbands. Stay with your size or one size up.

Skirt is gigantic – could fit two of me in there – but tiny elastic waist cuts off circulation! I do love the skirt and wish I could order a size or two up (in order to have a comfortable waistline) but then it would be even more enormous than it already is. I do not know whose body this would fit. I do not have a large waist. If anything, I am smaller-waisted than average.
